Trust

Investing can be scary. Allowing someone to look into your finances and help control the direction they take means putting your trust in a professional and expecting they will not let you down. Working with a Fiduciary Fee-Only advisor ensures that advice is in your best interest.

Strategy

Analyzing your situation and creating a plan to help you reach your goals is more than formulas or calculators, it involves strategic planning that will allow you to navigate life's ups and downs without losing sight of your goals.

Responsibility

This means having someone who can not only develop an initial plan, but help you to implement the plan, monitor it for needed changes, and ensure that your money is working for you and will be there to take care of you when you need it to be.

Richard F. Dunn AAMS®
Senior Financial Planner

Clinton Gerner

Rich is a veteran financial planner with more than eight years’ experience helping families build wealth and move toward financial goals. He started his financial planning practice in Maplewood, Minn., in the summer of 2002 working with a large national brokerage firm.

Over the years, Rich has shifted his practice toward fee-based financial planning to better focus on meeting client’s financial needs. Rich’s practice stresses wealth building strategy and tactical asset management to protect principal and reduce risk. Rich joined Capital Wealth Management to deepen his fee-based financial planning practice and to operate independent of any large firm’s marketing or product focus. By working with Richard in an independent firm, clients receive advice free from any conflict of interest. Clients may engage with Rich for a comprehensive financial planning process or asset management services. Fees are charged by the hour, flat rate or as a percentage of assets under care.

Rich currently holds the Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM or AAMS® designation. He has completed a course of study encompassing investments, insurance, tax, retirement, and estate planning issues passed an end-of-course examination testing his ability to synthesize complex concepts and apply theoretical concepts to real-life situations. This knowledge is used to effectively analyze and recommend asset management strategies that take into account your entire financial picture.
